The History

1974: THE CREATION

The Company was founded, as Carpenteria Artigiana ltd,, in the year 1974 by Mr. Giocondo Corsi, the respected Leader and President since the foundation.

Thanks to his efforts and business focus the Company grew year by year, becoming undiscussed leader in fabrication technology.

Carpenteria Corsi developed a great expertise in the manufacturing of high technology pressure vessels and heavy works, among the best in class global suppliers, with extensive references of reactors, separators, heat exchangers , columns etc.

Moreover, the Company can count on the support of very skilled professionals in several products including naval, industrial and military heavy carpentry.

Program, processes and quality procedure are driven and continuously improved by the Customer centricity and satisfaction.

Most of the production is oriented to the world global demand, specifically the Oil&Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, Off Shore and Naval Markets.

KEY DATES

1985. THE ACQUISITION

The covered area is improved from 1000 up to 3000mq. A domestic indutrial Company , named LMC llc is acquired and merged.

1998. THE ASME CERTIFICATION

The Company get the ASME U and U2 Stamp certification for the manufacturing of pressure vessels.

2003. THE GLOBAL REPUTATION

Carpenteria Corsi won the supply of a High Hot Pressure Separator, heavy wall 216mmm thick, 295tons weight, for a Top Class US Client, including the transportation up to the final destination, a Refinery in California.

2006. WORLD CLASS TECHNOLOGY

To properly serve the Oil&Gas market, Carpenteria Corsi acquires a new production shop, in the industrial area of Massa, closer to the Port, linked with direct unlimited industrial roads, equipped with handling devices for 600 tons.

Close to the 35 years old, the Company is placed among the few qualified and suitably located Top Class world manufacturers of high technology pressure vessels, for critical high pressure and temperature operating conditions.

2011. THE FIRST RENEWAL

“U”, and “U2” Stamp are renewed for both the Plants and in addition the certiticate of Authorization for “S” for Boilers as per ASME Sect. I and “R” for repair and alterations is certified for the La Spezia Plant.

2017. THE FURTHER EXPANSION

New Bay, further extension by 130X27 m, 10 m. below the hook, with new roof and larger 200 200 tons bridge cranes.

1990. THE INVESTMENTS

Further extension of covered area, up to a 4500mq. Handling equipments for 50 tons are installed.

2002. THE FIRST “U STAMP”

First supply of ASME U Stamp vessel: registered as no. 1 (C.C.) al National Board USA; a Steam Drum installed in a Refinery in Caribbean.

2005. THE GROWTH

The increased annual revenues and the highest financial needs recommended the change of the Company Asset: Carpenteria Corsi LLC is now founded with Mr. Giocondo Corsi as President and the Family Members as business partners. The covered area is increased up to 6000mq, with lifting capacity of 150 ton. Large investments in the machining department are implementd, with new and more powerful machining centers. The technical staff is consequently improved with skilled personnel.

2009. ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION

Carpenteria Corsi is certified by LRQA in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001 for the design, manufacturing and control of pressure vessles, compressors casings for Oil&Gas applications, heavy carpentry , military heavy according with Cutomer Specifications and highest international standard Codes.

2016. NEW INVESTMENTS

New larger furnace for PWHT and Paint booth are installed in the Massa Plant, with new larger bridge cranes to handle 250 tons.
